We have an evangelism crisis in our churches.
According to LifeWay Research more than half (55%) of people who attend church at least once a month say it has been at least six months since they’ve shared the gospel with anyone.
I don’t know about you, but this concerns me. Looking for inspiration for myself (and my Twitter followers) I took to Twitter and simply asked, “What are your favorite evangelism quotes?”
The responses included quotes from people who lived nearly two centuries ago to people who walk the earth today. Evangelism is timeless and it’s critical to the work of the church.
There’s work to be done in this area, but here are seven of the most inspiration quotes that landed in my feed. I hope they inspire you as you keep your hand to the plow of Kingdom work.
